Writing Your Story
Craft and MASTER your 1-minute story: This is the one you tell people who are interested in hearing about the opportunity.
Focus on specifics. Get people engaged in watching the MOVIE of the story you tell to help them understand how YOU GOT INVOLVED in an opportunity that everyone thinks they’ll never do. Make it DETAILED + REAL / BELIEVABLE. If the prospect thinks you’re exaggerating, you’ll immediately lose them.
- Who are you? (Most people don’t know you. Where do you live, who is your family, what are you about, what do you do for a living?)
- What is your product story? (How were you introduced? What captured? What did the product do for you?)
- Who introduced you? (How did you know that person? What was the relationship?)
- What did they say that got your attention?
- What were you passionate about that you weren’t getting enough of? What was your pain or passion? What keeps people from pursuing their passions, like homeschooling, living wherever they want, traveling, writing, painting, playing a sport?)
